Hornets vs Knicks Game

Last week my bf and I went to the Hornets/Knicks game and it was a lot of FUN, especially for him. He's a huge basketball fan! I was even all geared up for the game, which is a first for me. In the end, the Hornets did lose but it was still a good game. We got to see our favorite players and it was a really really close game.  Here are some pictures from that night:

Black Friday HAUL!

Its more like Black Friday WEEK haul because I was shopping everyday! With all of the deals going on for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the sales seems to start earlier and ending later every year. Bad news for shopaholics like me, but I didn't do too bad this year.  I didn't buy anything just because it was "cheap", I just picked up a few things that I needed (would've paid regular price for).  So here's what I picked up at Lululemon, J Crew, Aveda & Best Buy:

Oak Street Poboy Fest 2012

This past Sunday we went to Oak Street's 3rd Annual Poboy Festival. We planned on being there early (@11:00am) to beat the crowd a little bit but by the time we finally got there (1ish) the crowd was already in full effect. It was packed with people! The festival is getting bigger and bigger every year, with over 30 food vendors this year! This was my first year attending as a vegan so it was a bit tough to pass on all the good food that was out there.  I think out of the 30 vendors, I only saw 2 that had vegan poboys.  I think there were more vegetarian options.  Hopefully next year there will be more of both vegan and vegetarian poboys! ;)

Lululemon New Orleans Grand Opening Party (Pictures)

The grand opening party for the new Lululemon in New Orleans was a lot of fun! We had a yoga class outside the Shops on Canal St. then had a party afterwards. Complete with a second line band, Lucky Dogs hotdogs, Plum Street snowballs, a Lululemon King Cake & beer (in cute Lululemon Geaux cups)!

This is my favorite color for the fall! It's a classic, warm and rich color! I've seen this color everywhere this season. In clothes, shoes, jewlery, etc. It's GORG! Love it!

Carmo Cafe

My bf and I have been here a few times and each time we come, we try new items and everything has been DELICIOUS! There is something on the menu for everybody. There are items with meat, vegan items, and gluten-free items. The food here is so good that it makes it easy to to be vegan. No joke, if I could eat here everyday, I wouldn't crave seafood or chicken ever again! There are also fresh exotic fruit juices that are AMAZE! Most of which you can not find anywhere else in the city! A must-try when you come to Carmo.  This is the best spot for vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food in the city! Hands down!
